    #EurekaPiParty 2024 Sweepstakes Rules 

    No purchase necessary.  A purchase will not increase your chances of winning. By entering the Sweepstakes, you agree to these Official Rules, which are a contract, so read them carefully before entering. Without limitation, this contract includes indemnities to Great Minds PBC (“Great Minds” or “Sponsor”) as sponsor of the Sweepstakes from you and a limitation of your rights and remedies. 

    This sweepstakes is not endorsed or in any affiliated with GoldBelly®. 

    ELIGIBILITY  

    • In the Great Minds® #EurekaPiParty 2024 Sweepstakes (the “Sweepstakes”), three winners shall be selected by Great Minds to each receive one of three GoldBelly e-gift cards (approximately a $50 value) (the “Prize”) from (i) eligible participants who share their 2024 Pi Day plans or celebrations with us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, or X (formerly Twitter)) using the hashtag #EurekaPiParty, or (ii) anyone who has completed an alternative method of entry for the Sweepstakes postmarked by Friday, March 15, 2024.
       
    • Eligible participants of the Sweepstakes must be U.S. citizens or legal residents of the U.S. with a residence in the U.S. who are over the age of 18 as of March 11, 2024. Proof of these eligibility requirements may be requested by Great Minds prior to delivery of any Prize.

    • Void in Puerto Rico, Florida, New York and all other U.S. and foreign territories and possessions, and wherever else prohibited or restricted by law.

    • Employees of Great Minds PBC ("Sponsor") and/or their affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, (collectively, the “Sweepstakes Entities”) are not eligible to participate in the Sweepstakes. 

    HOW TO ENTER

    • The Sweepstakes begins at 12:00 a.m. (EST) March 11, 2024, and ends at 11:59 p.m. (EST) March 15, 2024 (the "Sweepstakes Period"). Enter the Sweepstakes by (i) sharing your Pi Day plans or celebrations with us on social media (Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn or X (formerly Twitter)) using the hashtag #EurekaPiParty, between March 11, 2024, through 11:59 p.m. on March 15, 2024; or (ii) completing and mailing an alternative method of entry form to:

      Mail entries must be postmarked by Friday, March 15, 2024, to be eligible. 

    • Incomplete entries will not be accepted. All entries become the property of Sponsor. 
        
    • All entries must be submitted on a social media account of an individual person. Prizes can only be awarded to the person who provides their name, school email address and physical address to Great Minds after being selected as a Prize winner. 
       
    • Multiple participants are not permitted to share the same email address. In the event of a dispute regarding the identity of the person submitting an entry, the entry will be deemed to be submitted by the authorized social media account holder in whose name the provided email account is registered. 
        
    • Entries made by any mass duplication, automatic, robotic, or programmed method, or through any promotion entry, notification, or related service, or in any manner not in compliance with the requirements of these Official Rules are invalid and will be disqualified. 
        
    • Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify participants who violate these Official Rules or interfere with this Sweepstakes in any manner. If a participant is disqualified, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate that participant's eligibility to participate in the Sweepstakes. 
        
    • This Sweepstakes is subject to all federal, state, and local laws. 
        
    • Neither Sponsor nor any of its service providers are responsible for incorrect or inaccurate transcription of entry information, or for any human error, technical malfunctions, lost/delayed data transmission, omission or failures of any network, computer equipment, web site or software, or any other error or malfunction, or late, lost or misdirected entries, which may result from delays or failure in delivery by the Unites States Postal Service or any other carrier used to submit entries. 
        
    • Sponsor is not responsible for any liability for damage to any computer system resulting from participation in or accessing or downloading information in connection with the Sweepstakes. 
        
    • Once a person is selected as a Prize winner, they may not be selected as Prize winner again. 
       
    • Limit one entry per person. Despite the potential appearance on the multiple social media platforms of any entrant, such postings will be construed as a single entry. 
       

    SELECTION

    • Prize winners will be selected on a random basis by Great Minds at noon on Monday, March 25, 2024, from a pool of eligible registrants and eligible alternative method of entry submissions. 
       
    • No Prize winner may be eligible to receive multiple Prizes in the Sweepstakes. 
       
    • Odds of winning depend on the number of eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. 

    •  Sponsor decisions are final and binding on all matters relating to this Sweepstakes. 
        
    • Potential winners will be notified via Great Minds social media and on the Great Minds Eureka Pi Party 2024 blog. A winner will have 7 calendar days to respond to the prize notification. If a prize notification message is unanswered within the allotted time (7 calendar days) or if a potential winner declines the prize or is ineligible, an alternate winner will be selected by random drawing from the remaining eligible entries. 
        
    • Conditions upon claiming the Prize: (1) Prize winners consent to Great Mind’s use of your name or likeness for promotional purposes, including posting of the winner's name in a winners list, on the Great Minds website, and in Great Minds social media accounts (such as Facebook®, X® (formerly Twitter), LinkedIn®, and Instagram®), without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law, and (2) if requested by Sponsor, the Prize winner is required to sign and return an affidavit of eligibility/publicity and liability release within the time specified by Sponsor. Additionally, reposting of winning images on Great Minds social media accounts implies consent by all individuals pictured in said image. 

    • If a Prize winner is ineligible, cannot be contacted, fails to timely return an affidavit/release as specified by Sponsor, declines the Prize, or if the Prize is returned as undeliverable, an alternate winner will be selected. If, in Sponsor's opinion, there is any suspected or actual evidence of tampering with any portion of the promotion, or if technical difficulties compromise the integrity of the promotion, Sponsor reserves the right to terminate the promotion and conduct a random drawing to award the prize using all entries received as of the termination date. 
        
    • All product prizes will be emailed to the prizewinner’s school email address within four (4) weeks of notification and validation of the Prize winner at Great Minds expense.  

    • Prizewinners should allow 6 to 8 weeks from notification for delivery of the Prizes. Great Minds is not responsible for any delays, damages, or issues arising from the action or services of third-party shipping companies involved in the delivery of items.  
       
    • The total retail value of all Prizes available to be won awarded in the Great Minds #EurekaPiParty 2024 Sweepstakes is approximately $150. 


    PRIZES

    • Three (3) Prize winners will each be awarded a GoldBelly e-gift card worth approximately $50 per Prize Winner. 
        
    • PRIZES MUST BE ACCEPTED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTY OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED (INCLUDING, WITHOUT LIMITATION, ANY IMPLIED WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE). 

    • No Sweepstakes Entities have made nor are in any manner responsible or liable for any warranty, representation or guarantee, express or implied, in fact or in law, relative to a prize, including express warranties provided exclusively by a prize manufacturer that may be sent along with a Prize.

    • All taxes, if applicable, are the sole responsibility of the prizewinner.

    • No Prize substitution, cash substitution, or assignment or transfer of Prizes is permitted, except by Sponsor for reason of unavailability in which case a Prize of equal or greater value will be awarded. 
       
    • Limit one Prize per household. 
       
    • All Prizes awarded are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules. 

    PRIVACY

    • Personal information that entrants provide in connection with the Prize notification will be collected by Great Minds subject to its Privacy Policy. Please refer to the Privacy Policy for details on how information that is collected in this promotion may be used.

    • Any entrant who has elected to receive emails from the Sponsor and no longer wishes to receive further emails may opt-out by following the "unsubscribe" instructions at the bottom of the e-mail communication. 

    LIABILITY LIMITS AND INDEMNITY

    • By entering and/or participating, all entrants and winners, on behalf of themselves, their executors, heirs and assigns hereby: (a) release the Sweepstakes Entities from any and all liability, claims or actions of any kind whatsoever for injuries, damages or losses of any kind to persons or property, including death and bodily injury, which may be sustained in connection with the conduct or outcome of the promotion or the receipt, ownership or use or misuse of any prize awarded, (b) indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from and against any and all claims arising from the foregoing, and (c) indemnify, defend and hold harmless Sweepstakes Entities from and against any and all claims arising from the acts or omissions of entrant or winner. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCES WILL SWEEPSTAKES ENTITIES BE LIABLE FOR PUNITIVE, INCIDENTAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR SPECIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS) OR ANY OTHER DAMAGES IN EXCESS OF ACTUAL OUT-OF-POCKET COSTS INCURRED (IF ANY) NOT TO EXCEED $50, BUT IN NO EVENT WILL ATTORNEYS' FEES BE AWARDED OR RECOVERABLE. 

    GENERAL

    • A full list of the Prize winners will be filed with states in which such filing is required. 
       
    • All federal, state, and other tax liabilities are the responsibility of the Prize winner.

    • Great Minds is not responsible for late, incomplete, inaccurate, or misdirected alternative method entries.

    • Great Minds reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to modify or terminate this Sweepstakes in the event of any act, occurrence, or reason that it believes would corrupt the integrity, administration, or fairness of the sweepstakes. 
       
    • By participating in the Sweepstakes, participants agree to release, discharge, and hold harmless sponsor, its respective parents, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and other individuals engaged in the development or execution of this Sweepstakes, from any liability, claims, losses, and damages arising out of or relating to their participation in this Sweepstakes or the acceptance, use, misuse, or possession of any prize received in this Sweepstakes. 
       
    • A copy of these Official Rules can be obtained by mailing a self-addressed, stamped envelope to the business address of Great Minds PBC at 55 M Street, SE, Suite 301, Washington, D.C. 20003 Attn: Sweepstakes. 
       
    • This Sweepstakes is void where prohibited by law.

    • Except where prohibited, all disputes arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes will be resolved on an individual basis by binding arbitration subject to the rules of the American Arbitration Association. The foregoing shall not limit any party's right to seek injunctive or equitable relief in any court with jurisdiction over the parties or to bring qualifying claims in small claims court. If an in-person hearing is required then it will take place in Washington, D.C. The arbitrator's decision and award will be final and binding and judgment on the award may be entered in any court with jurisdiction. 
       
    • The invalidity or unenforceability of any portion or provision of these Official Rules or an Affidavit will not affect the validity or enforceability of any other provision. 
       
    • In the event that any provision of the Official Rules or an Affidavit is determined to be invalid or otherwise unenforceable or illegal, the other provisions will remain in effect and will be construed in accordance with their terms as if the invalid or illegal provision were not contained herein. 
       
    • If there is a discrepancy between these Official Rules and any other promotion materials, the Official Rules will control and govern this Sweepstakes. 
       
    • Sponsor's failure to enforce any term of these Official Rules will not constitute a waiver of that provision. 

    WINNERS LIST

    • The Prize winners will be announced on the Great Minds social media accounts and Blog at Great Minds® #EurekaPiParty 2024 after confirmation of eligibility and notification.
